I have been looking back on my records as far as exercise for about the last year (beginning the last day of September 2008). Although my records go back farther than that, I would have to really look at them closely in order to get everything figured out. I had often talked about the amount of cardio exercise I get. I do not get as much of that type of exercise anymore because my goals have changed from losing weight to putting on some muscle. Since the day I really started keeping close track of cardio exercise, I have walked/run 1,125 miles on the treadmill and rode 2,132 miles on the recumbent bike (with some of that mileage being on a regular bike at the park). All of this in less than a year, the majority of which was in the three month period before the end of the year last year--( 769 and 1,155 respectively). I am not here to brag about accomplishments. I am here to try to make folks see that if you put your mind to something, you can do it. You just have to be determined to do something. My overall goal is to remain as healthy as I possibly can, and don't fool yourself, it's work. But it is work that I am more than willing to do because I do not want to ever feel the way that I did in the past, or at least to delay it as long as I possibly can. I have to tell you, if I can do it, anyone can.
Just do what the directions tell you. Take two tylenol and keep away from children
