JEREMY With A Tiny Hand You Gripped My Finger The First Time I Saw Your Face You Have Accomplished Things That Amaze Me Yet You Know It Is Through GOD'S Grace Strong As Long As I Remember You Make Me Stronger Too You've helped to Shape My Family Gentle, Wise, And True I Never Tell You Enough How Much I Adore You Time Slips Away So Fast You Are A Grown Man With A Wife And Two Children Of Your Own One Of The Best Dads A Kid Could Have Known With A Tiny Hand I Gripped Your Finger The Last Time I Saw Your Face Kate/Jeremy's Mom Jeremy said "How can We Not be donors?" He donated Easter morning 2009. We struggle to pick up the pieces after His death, and find peace in the fact that He helped someone else the way He planned to. Kate/Jeremy's Mom} |

Hi Kate You are very welcome! I am glad that you found us. Please tell your daughter to visit your blog. I had to delete the messages on this thread that were not related to your topic.

Hostess Mostest, You Rule! thank you for putting this all in the perfect place. The poem Heather referred to, was the one above. I forgot to move it away from the computer. She came in my room the next day, saying "I just read the poem." She was crying,& smileing at the same time. I kept telling Her to come on, next thing I know she was here.(thanking Y'all for helping her mother "get a grip on her life.") We lol. I said They know I'm "throwed off" already. She said "And They know I'm thankful to them for helping you get a grip on your life." She cracks me up too. Love You Bunches! Kate/Jeremy&Heather's mom |

Thank You Risa, A big ole mushy hug from my heart to Yours Risa! I think I wrote it when I accepted that Jeremy was gone. Also I had a very supportive group of great Buddies to lean on by then. I knew I was nowhere near being alone! I have learned so much here, and I'm so glad You made it possible. You are the best Rise'. Love, Kate |

My brother was a donor. He passed away on Nov. 7th 2006. He was 52 years old. His wife did not want to know the recipients. He gave his liver, kidneys and pancreas. Here is his picture in case someone out there wanted to know who he was. We miss him. 8 months later we lost my mother too. Was a very hard time. Here is a picture of him with our Mother two years before he passed. |

Rebecca: Welcome to Transplant Buddies. Thank you for sharing you brother and your mom with us. I am so sorry that you have lost both of them so close together. Your brother is a hero! He gave 4 or more people a new life. That is huge!! It's okay that your brother's wife doesn't want to know the recipients. It may just be too hard for her. I can say with a lot of confidence that your brother's recipients are very thankful and think of him daily. We hope you continue to visit. This is a great place to make friends and get support. God Bless!
