In an effort to bring awareness to Living Donors Programs - I have ordered my Personalized License Plates for WASHINGTON STATE - "LVDONOR".

My hopes are that people may feel compelled to ask about the plate - which in turn will give me an opportunity to talk about being a Living Donor. If only one person listens and they become a living donor - than this will be a success. At the very least - just the plate should get people thinking.

Because it can take up to 8 wks to get the plates - I wanted to get my request in while LVDONOR was still available even though my actual donation date is 10/20.

Great idea, Max! Keep posting your updates here!
Sure like the license plate idea. I did see a donor plate in our parking lot and asked the woman about it. Come to find out, here husband (since deceased) had three liver transplants! Amazing how many lives donation can touch.
