Hello to all my Transplant Health Enthusiastic Buddies

I received my chinese Health and Fitness video on Friday and I have watched the video only two times. After watching the video and practicing the many exercises, I slept like a baby. Richard explains the importance of breathing exercises, nutrition and acupressure and just a basic knowledge about overall health that I never heard before. It all makes perfect sense. His advice is powerful. Knowledge is power as the saying goes.

What I have learned in the past about chinese and energy medicine practices, there is always a purpose for each exercise. For example, one type of abdominal exercise can work the kidney and spleen meridian. Another type of breathing exercise works the lung and kidney channels. I know in time, I wil remember which exercise works each specific meridian because that is something I pride myself on learning.

For others, learning how to move your arms and hold your legs while you coordinate your breathing will be something that is important for you.

There is one exercise that is believed to prevent strokes if you practice this early in the morning.

I am sure I will watch this video fifty times until I learn all of the proper stances and arm movements and have it down pat. Today was the first morning I practiced all that I remembered from the Eight silk breathing movements.

I Rise', of TransplantBuddies highly recommend the Chinese Health and Fitness video for all of my pre and post transplantbuddies. I know you will not regret one penny of your choice to buy this video.

If you are a bodybuilder or like working out with weights, this video is for you. If you are waiting for a transplant and feel tired and weak, this video is for you. Just my opinion of course. If you have trouble standing, you can always practice all of the exercises while you sit down.

I hope that Richard Stacel produces more videos in the future.

Knowledge is power. Thank you Rich!

How Important is Breathing?

In many ancient cultures breathing and the link of breath to spirit was well known and utilized, but in our modern times, such notions are laughed at as being outdated, arcane and foolish. Sure, they know that we need breath to stay alive via the constant exchange of gases oxygen and carbon-dioxide, but what modern science and medicine in particular does not acknowledge is there is far more to breathing then just a lot of hot air.

In China, the character for Chi (life force or bio-energy) is 3 wavy lines, symbolizing the air itself. These two words are often used interchangeably in Chinese medicine and martial arts. There are many different types of chi, which are characterized depending upon where the chi comes from and what the chi does or is responsible for. There is Air chi, heaven chi, earth chi, human chi, fire chi, water chi and many more.

Each chi is responsible for a certain action in the universe or in the human body. By having a solid understanding of what each of these different types of chi does and what actions in the body each type of chi controls or governs, you can then use this simple but effective and broad ranging knowledge to diagnose, understand and even heal oneself of various illnesses and maladities.

A simple example of this that I often teach acolytes and friends alike has to do with "Fire Chi" in the human body. Where there is too much fire chi, dry mouth, red skin, itchy skin rashes and such are often the result. When there is what's called "fire chi ascending" headaches, dizziness, nausea and vomiting are often the results. But understanding this simple cause and effect of what's going on with our bio-energies we can use natural techniques such as acupressure, acupuncture, breathing and the mind to help rebalance the chi, bring the ascending fire energy down back to the residence at the "Dan Tien" which is a physical spot about one and a half to two inches below the belly button, and there by alleviate the symptoms.

Why is Chi so important?

Chi is really that unifying concept and force of the body. Since it's necessary and absolutely vital for all processes to occur in nature which includes the human body of course, it's a subject who's importance can't be overstated or ignored. Once you understand the nature of the universe and chi itself, you'll see why learning to use and cultivate this vital energy is so important to your health and well being on all levels.

In my twenty five years in the Chinese martial and healing arts along with over thirty years of meditation training I've come to see more and more clearly this fact that Chi is truly the underlying substance of the universe and is the main regulator of health, fitness, strength and longevity in the human body. Having studied physics since I was a child which includes astronomy and chemistry I was somewhat skeptical about certain claims made by Chi-gung Masters regarding chi. I knew enough even before starting my training to know that what they were saying was very likely true, but still had to prove many things about it to myself. As I was always open to learning new things, I took the words of my instructors at face value and trained hard and long in breathing, meditation and other special training methods of focusing and concentrating the chi that are used in martial arts.

From this focused and dedicated training I came to see why so many of the ancient manuals constantly talked about chi. It didn't matter if it was a martial arts manual, herbal, meditation, acupuncture or anything else in China, chi was always the main focus. This is true even in terms of psychology which had also helped me to understand, along with many other books on the subject, many of the differences in how men and women think and behave. That's another website that I'm working on at the moment too.

After so many years of training I now see clearly why Chi is given this fantastic importance in eastern literature. That's because Chi is truly the energy of our human battery source which is located in the dan tien or abdomen below the navel. One of my many goals is to help as many people as possible understand this and to teach them the techniques and knowledge they need to bring these awesome benefits that I have gotten from this training into their lives as well.

Through the Chinese Health And Fitness video I've put together many of the main practices and concepts into five major sections to do just that, all located in one DVD so that you don't have to read the over 100 books, learn from true old world masters, spend 25 years training as I have in the martial or healing arts to get these fantastic benefits. All the critical and truly important information right along with sample regimens at the end are right in the video for you.

Chi is the energy of the universe and it permeates every cell in our bodies and all matter. There is research out there that is largely ignored that shows that scientists have in fact discovered some hitherto unknown energy field that they can't explain and doesn't fit in with their current explanations of matter and the nature of the universe. Experiments with water and other matter have left more questions than answers. These experiments pointed to the existence of some other force that is somehow linking up all matter together. This is the only way that the odd behaviors seen during these experiments can be explained.

Military experiments done with DNA have shown that a person's DNA changes with their thoughts and moods. Experimenters took a person's DNA, and from distances of up to fifty (50) miles away, observed simultaneous and instantaneous changes in the DNA in response to their thoughts and moods. These changes were simultaneous and instantaneous with the DNA inside the test subject as well.

It was first done from one room to another, then from one building to another and finally to the fifty mile limit which is when the test was ended. There is no known law of physics or science that could explain how and why the person's DNA that is no longer inside his body would still be reacting to the thoughts and moods of the subject. These changes occurred at faster than light speed. The only conclusion is that there is some unknown force that exists linking the subject's DNA to the host no matter the distance or barriers between the two. As so many think that Star Wars is just fantasy huh, ha ha

Breathing was first discovered by the observance of animals and how they breathe when they fight, when they're sick, when they sleep and more. The Chinese naturally believed that nature was a teacher and possessed great wisdom from the creative spirit or source, so in humility, they kept they're minds open to this knowledge and imitated what they saw nature doing.

The Yellow River in China often flooded every year and the damp moisture that it brought caused many joint problems and other illnesses to those living in it's fertile river basin. Those that practiced these deep breathing techniques, which started with the famous "Five Animal Play", which is based on the animals of the "Tiger, Dear, Bear, Crane and Monkey", discovered that they did not get sick as those who didn't practice the breathings. Not only was their immunity increased significantly, but they're overall strength, energy and appearance was healthier than others, and they found that they lived longer and better lives as they continued practicing these breathings.

Science has only recently begun to open up to the idea that breathing might have more going on with it than the simple exchange of gases with each breath. They now see that breathing also acts as a metabolic regulator, has immune boosting capacity, increases oxygen flow to the brain and much more. Of course, none of this is news to the Chinese, especially the medical and martial artist community who have been using breathing as one of the main branches of healing arts in China for thousands of years, right up till our modern day.

Thanks for referring your friends to my newsletter. Make sure to pick up a copy of my Chinese Health and Fitness video to learn one of the most effective breathing sets known.

Thanks and I'll see you next time,
