Hi - I am so happy to have found this website! I just went on the Liver Transplant list in December, primarily for severe side effects from PBC (though my numbers seem to be declining pretty consistently as well.) Though I have an amazingly supportive family, friends and colleagues - I have never in my life felt so disconnected because no one really knows the transplant world. Finding this website has been such a relief (now...can you find a way to stop the horrible itching!!! Looking forward to learning and laughing and healing with this group!!! } |

Welcome, I didn't find this site until three months after my surgery as a live donor. It is an incredible resource with a lot of very caring and helpful people.

Welcome to this community which I have found to provide me with plenty of laughs, encouragement, and knowledge, and I hope you may be blessed by it as I have been so very much blessed. I wish I had found the group when I was on the waiting list but I did not find it until after my transplant surgery. I got a liver as part of my multivisceral transplant. I hope you may not have to wait long. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Many hugs.

Hi DAP! No, I don't do any blogging...yet. I have had friends recommend that I create one, but as I am still working fulltime (though doing a lot more from home these days), and I have two teenagers, I just don't have the time. |
