Old rule: Apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with SPF 15 a half-hour before leaving the house. New rule: Sunscreen alone is not enough: Wear an SPF 15 (at least) plus an antioxidant-enriched moisturizer. Old rule: Throw on a T-shirt or cover-up when you’re in direct sunlight. New rule: If you’re not into sun-protective clothing, wear dark colors and tightly woven fabrics at peak hours Old rule: Use a teaspoon of sunscreen for your face, a shot-glass-worth for your body. New rule: Layer on your protection to make sure you’re covered. Old rule: Never, ever use tanning beds. New rule: Still, never, ever use tanning beds. Ol' Bob

This rule is sooooo hard for me to follow! I used to be a sun worshiper and hardly ever used sunscreen and used tanning beds in the winter. I'm a good girl and I wear my sunscreen, but i don't like it! But it is a very small price to pay right? Hope you're doing well Ol' Bob! Kelly |
