I missed posting yesterday....but I will NEVER forget that fateful day...but as most of you watched in horror what happened to our country, I spent the day watching it on a tv in the waiting room at the hospital.....waiting for my youngest grandson to be born......Little did we know what an impact that date would make on this country when we were given that due date so many months before....so, while I remember all of those lost that day, we celebrate life...the life of my grandson, Joshua Orion

I will NEVER forget 9-11-2001 or what I was doing the moment I heard. At the time I worked at the local market, had just checked a lady out, when My daughter, Heather came in the door and walked straight over to me saying, "They said a plane just crashed into one of the towers of the World Trade Center."

Louisiana is central time zone, it was just about 10:30am. I went home for lunch at 11:00am and could not believe what I watched. My brain kept telling me," this is a movie, it can't be real!" "Some nut's idea of a joke."

I returned to work and for the rest of my shift, everyone I saw spoke quiet and kind to each other. We were not different, we were all Americans.

I celebrate Joshua Orion too. Thank you for sharing the sweetest thing in this world that we can have, happened during the horror of terrorism.

The minute I heard that flight 93 crashed in the field, I knew they had taken back the plane. They were our first soldiers in the war against terrorism. We have many HEROS from that day and the days that followed.

It was about 5 years before I could watch the shows on tv about it. I cried all the way through them too. I will always remember!

We will always remember. Those heroes on Flight 93 saved so many lives.
