This is my first post on here, I do not have any questions yet, but I am sure some will come up after reading a little more on here. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I will be peeking in every now and then. I have obliterative bronchiolitis and just started using O2 at night. I am considering a transplant at the U of MN and will be talking with the Drs. there within the next month or so. Have a wonderful evening, Renee' |

Hi Renee! Welcome to Transplant Buddies! I was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis Obliterans in 2007. Since then, I have been given the gift of new lungs (12/1/2009). I am thankful everyday for my donor and donor family. It was hard for me to make the decision to finally get evaluated for transplant. I kept hoping that I would get better. After struggling for over a year and getting the BO diagnosis from the Mayo Clinic, I decided that I needed to pursue transplant. I have to tell you that the people on this forum were key in helping me make my decision and get through the whole process, so you are in the right place as you begin your transplant journey. It can be very overwhelming, but we are all here for you - to answer any questions you may have. Visit often and ask lots of questions!! God Bless!
