During PD dialysis I had to deal with restless leg syndrome. Not 3 years post transplant the RLS has started back again. Has any post transplant folks experienced this?

Only to a limited degree .. specifically when I was was on cellcept (mmf). It seemed to cause me (but obviously not everyone) a variety of neurological issues. I switched off it to azathioprine and the symptoms reduced markedly. It seems like, for my case, the mmf potentiated the neurotoxic effects of tacro. I still get low grade neuro-related issues (reduced sensory mostly) from the tacro but they are well withint my bounds of acceptability. Hope the docs can fin some way of modifying things for you. take care Keith |

I am 11 post tx and I did. Doctor put me on Norontin 600mg twice a day. Works great! Took care of constant headaches I was having as well. |
