Please pray for my friend Mallory Smith, who is a very special friend of mine. She is a two time liver recipient. She has been in Emory ICU for a month fighting for her life. She had several bugs, CMV and Klesbsiella pneumonia.

Tests show that these bugs are gone but her lungs are severely sick and damaged. The doctors are concerned rather she will be able to survive this. Please please pray for her and pass this message on. If you have been praying, please keep them going!

Mallory is a young, beautiful, sweet girl. She has touched so many people. Her family and friends miss her and need her back.

You can visit her website at www.teammal.org to follow her progress and leave a message in her guest book.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! MIRACLE FOR MALLORY!

Mallory passed away a few month ago. Her little body was tired and ready to give up. She was a loss to the GA transplant community

Amy, I'm very sorry to hear that. What exactly happened? You know why they haven't updated her website?

Mallory basically died of complications of being immunosuppressed. She kept getting virus after virus and her body could not handle it. Eventually she stopped responding to medication. While I only met Mal once, this is my understanding from sharing friends with some of her friends. Her parents are currently registering for walkers in her honor for a walk named after her. You can read about it on www.teammal.org under journal
