Just wanted to begin sharing some Bible scriptures with you.

Psalm 29:10-11

The Lord rules over the floodwaters.
The Lord reigns as king forever.
The Lord gives his people strength
The Lord blesses them with peace.

Thanks, Heather, for listing Jer. 29:11; sometimes I feel like the Jews of the Dispersion to Babylon. I had to move to a city to be close to the transplant center. But I know God has a "plan" for me to be here even though I never wanted to live here. I won't carry the analogy too far, but that scripture helps me. I'm having to "learn" Phil. 4:11--13. May God bless you.

Today's Word

"But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV)

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,

Isaiah 40:31
King James Version (KJV)

31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
