"Tebow" experience explained This is about our own ambivalent feelings. We are a nation divided by optimism and cynicism, fractured by intense feelings of hope and despair. While many still believe the recession will turn around, unemployment will drop and global warming will be halted, others view these same events through a much bleaker lens. As Tebow plays and prays, he embodies our ambivalen...ce, should we continue to have faith or not -- in ourselves, in others, in our future. When Tebow gets into his now-famous pose, he does it as if no one is watching. He goes to one knee, closes his eyes and has what he might tell us is a private moment with God. It's his naive innocence that sets him apart from White, Warner, Hamilton and others who seem equally devout. At that moment Tebow appears to believe, openly, genuinely, that life is wonderful and that all will be okay. My young heart transplant pal Alex Wood of Florida can be seen here with his visitors at the hospital before his badly needed heart transplant. His surprise visitors were pro football players Tim Tebow and his team mate Percy. Tim Tebow's slogan "Bringing Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need." Young Alex rec'd his heart transplant in 2007 thanks to his beautiful heart donor Sarah Elizabeth. RIP sweet Sarah Ol' Bob P.S. Young Alex is doing just fine 4yrs post heart transplant and is very grateful for his extended life due to his wonderful heart donor Sarah.
