Ever summer when I am off I look for a book that has meaning that I cant put down. Now that I am off for 3 weeks I am hoping someone can suggest one here.
Here are my suggestion on what I read that I have loved through the years:
The Good Earth
Water for Elephants
Glass Castel
Dinner with a Stranger
Mice and Men
The Help
The Kite Runner

Any thoughts on a good book? Thanks. Rita

WOW! You certainly inspire me to pick up and read more books. I guess I spend too much time online these days.

Do you know that you can download books, movies and music online now free from your public library. I know in NYC you can and I would assume you can throughout the country. You do not need a kindle or IPad or you phone, etc, you can do it from your home computer. All you need is your library card. If you would prefer to hold a book, you can also reserve books on line and go pick them up. NYC also has a program I think that they will deliver books to your home. Just though those who like to read and can't afford an Ipad etc would like to look into this from the comfort of their own home. Wishing you the best.
