Possible Drug Interactions People taking blood thinners (anticoagulant or anti-platelet medication), such as aspirin, warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, clopidogrel (Plavix), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDS) such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil), naproxen (Naprosyn, Aleve) should only use krill oil under a physician's supervision. Krill oil should also be used with caution by people taking herbs and supplements that are thought to increase the risk of bleeding, such as ginkgo biloba and garlic. I stopped taking fish oil in exchange of krill after reading this article http://krilloil.mercola.com/krill-oil.html Aside from krill oil, what would you suggest as a source of omega-3? |

Heather It is best to ask your doctor. If anyone who is reading needs surgery then I would go off all of the above. You would be much better off taking Krill oil over Fish oil. I would do some research. If you want I can find a page for you to read.

Hi Srik I would contact your tx team before buying Krill oil. I like Mercola's brand of Krill. Since I have had positive results in the past, I am going to buy some today. http://krilloil.mercola.com/

Well, I bought Dr. Mercola's Krill oil and now I am muscle testing weak to it. I am no longer taking this product.. I am going to test for the other Krill oil that I was taking to see if there is a difference with the muscle test. I will go the health food store and let you all know. I have learned to muscle test and love all that it has done for me. I recently discovered that I had two teeth that needed dental work. They ended up needing root canals. Muscle testing is easy to learn and if you have the time, consider learning it.

I have switched from chia seed to fish oil for omega-3's. The problem with veggie sources (chia seeds, flaxseed, walnuts) is that they contain a precursor (ALA, alpha-lenolenic acid) that does not convert efficiently to the EPA and DHA that you want. You don't have to go to krill oil to avoid contamination, such as mercury. There are sources of fish oil that are very pure. I am using one from Carlson Labs that is recommended by Dr. Peter Attia. Do you know his blog? www.waroninsulin In my opinion, the #1 diet/nutrition blog out there, so much info in it.

Today I am testing strong to my krill oil again. When I start back on it, I will only take one pill every other day. Thank you John for the blog address. I will check it out.

Hi Joyce There are many books on how to muscle test. I could not explain this in a post. I would buy the book "Energy Medicine" by Donna Eden and there are also some youtube videos on how to muscle test. Google sway test, muscle test, energy test. I only take one krill oil pill daily.
