http://www.worldwidewounds.com/2001/november/Molan/honey-as-topical-agent.html

I watching the history channel the other night and saw a segment where in different parts of the world where there is no access to advanced medical treatment some doctors use honey to heal wounds.

found this link and have recently used Manuka honey to heal my skin with good results and will continue to use it.

I forgot to mention that this is not about eating honey. This is only about using honey as a topical agent in treating wounds.

I know some transplant doctors may not recommend the use of raw honey because of the immune boosting effect.

I have something wrong with my skin. I have been to six dermatologists and nobody can pinpoint what I have. One doctor said it could be a staff infection.

I decided to try and use manuka honey topically and so far I am happy with the results. I thought I would have bugs crawling on my face at night but this is not the case. Thank goodness.

Time will tell if this is going to help me.

I have tried antibiotics for the skin with little results.

Thank you Bob
I added the link to the top of this thread:-)

I will keep you posted about my progress. I have a cut on my lip that does not heal. It is not herpes. I am hoping this treatment works for me

I am so happy with the results of using Manuka honey.

I will say that the jar of honey is pretty pricey. I am predicting a cure for myself within a month.

I am seeing big results. I have to stare with a magnifying mirror to see some tiny red spots. WOW!!

I am very impressed with the use of Manuka honey for the skin ailment that I had that no doctor was able to diagnose.

My little cut that never would heal is completed healed.

I will say that the ants did find me :-) Now I keep the jar of Manuka honey in a sealed plastic bag.
