I have a lot of favorites, but right off the top of my head I'd say
Roses, Chrysanthemums (sp?) and all the orchids.

Orchids, orchids, orchids. The reasons? 1) the most prolific of plant species on the earth(25,000-30,000 species), 2) many different looking plants, many of which you would not guess were orchids.

I'm like Heather. I don't have a favorite. I like a lot of types of flowers. My wife and I have planted a lot flowering perennials and bushes. My wife likes anything that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

I have a really difficult time picking just one. I love flowers - almost every variety. Like Frank, we plant anything that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

My favorite is the gorgeous white Casablanca Lilly. It's long lasting and has a marvelous fragrance.

I too love all kinds of flowers, but I suppose if I had to choose one which is hard for me to do in most situations, it would be the red rose. I suppose because it makes so many appearances in some of the old novels and medieval texts I have read, and I love the color red.

After Cisco and Lady Di's introduction to Flowers I fell in love with orchids.
My husband has bought many orchids for the outdoors. I will tell him to take some photos when he has time.

I love every flower equally. It's hard for me to pick just one. A girl can never say no to a beautiful bouquet of flowers. :-)

TULIPS, TULIPS, TULIPS!!! My Mom and I are both crazy for them. What a great thread, to think of beautiful flowers when most of us are experiencing some major cold temps!!! Even way down here in Ga.!

How could I forget? I love irises - my mom's name was Iris. So everytime I see an iris I think of her.

They look so much like orchids - they must be related. Is that so Cisco or LadyDi - our orchid experts?
