Google:
Best sources Of Protein This will give you the following:Bodybuilding.com-Protein Handbook For Beginners:Comparing.....

This does a better job of explaining about protein than I can. You may even find that I was wrong about some things, but at least you will be able to make some decisions on your own about what kinds of protein you want to put in your body and almost as importantly, when to do so. I will try to point you in the right direction on other things too.

You are Great Cisco. I can always count on you. :-)

For now, I am pleased with my progress. After our chat, I did chest, shoulder and military press with dumb bells. I did some cardio too.

The idea in my home is to keep moving. I move around while brushing my teeth LOL

When you read some of the stuff about protein, you will know that the more you move, especially if you are doing really vigorous exercise, the more protein you can eat, along with carbohydrates and good fats.

thank you Cisco! I always feel better when I eat more protein. I rather eat more protein foods rather than supplementing. For me, whey protein shakes do not work well for me. The iron content in some of these shakes increase my congestion because iron supplementation can increase bacterial infections.

I am going to buy different types of protein foods and snack on them with a greater amount vs larger amounts of carbs and fats. I will also add in more veggies. I already eat well but we can always be healthier

Here is interesting feedback from Dr. Oz's blog

http://www.sharecare.com/question/who-use-whey-protein-supplement

I am going to eat more protein rich foods this new year. I am going to add more fish and veggies to my snacks instead of the food that I was eating prior.

So far so good for me. I am now keeping a diary of my workout, my numbers and some foods. I will eventually get it all together.

Whey and Soy do not work for me as protein supplements. I like Hemp but will take that too in moderation. I will find something else if I need it. First I will try my suggestion that I posted above.

There must be a reason why my kidney numbers are in excellent shape. I will keep tabs on everything.

For those of you who are taking in soy protein in shakes and protein bars, do your research. Does not sound good from some research.

The only soy I consume are Miso, tempeh, edamame and tofu. I am confused about soy milk (I stopped drinking this years ago). I no longer eat soy cheese because it is processed and their is too much controversy in the media behind this.

This year is going to have more focus on my food intake and workouts. This is the year for me. A New YEAR and NEW ME.

Also, guys need to be even more concerned about soy than women. I limit my soy protein to less than 25 grams a day. Most of my protein does come from food, although less than 50 grams does come from a whey/soy combination at different times of the day.
