I have been meaning to create a grocery list where I can print out a bunch of copies and take one with me each time I shop.

Here is a website where you can do just that. If you have another system or another website please share.

Looks like a lot of work to me. We just have a tablet on the refrigerator. When we run out, we write it down. there are few things that we use a lot of like chicken, dried cherries and wraps, but we are mindful of that when making a grocery run.
There are not too many things in life worth working my butt off for, but my health is one of them

My husband, Sam, created a grocery list for us in "word" that we can print out anytime we've used up the old list and need a new one. He went to the grocery store that we use the most, and created a series of columns and squares, and gave each one a heading that you find at the beginning of each aisle. Things along the back wall are written in red (i.s. milk, eggs, cheese, etc), so we know where to look.

It really helps organize our shopping, and it take much less time. It also prevents compulsive shopping, because if it's not on the list, we don't buy it unless we both agree.

Great idea Sally~

You can save lots of money when you have the list. I also found what works well for me is to eat before shopping. You are less tempted to buy like you said the compulsive foods.

Even though we shop at whole foods, there are too many healthy treats if you know what I mean.
