Hello Everyone, I am doing the Kidney walk in May for my second year in a row and 4th year overall at the Detroit Zoo. Just wondering if anyone else is going to be there. Hoping to break my limit from last year of $1,325. I have a goal set for $2500, wish me luck.

Congratulations on your past successes in these walks. I hope you may excel further and reach your goal or more this time. May you be blessed for trying to bless others with your deeds. Best of wishes.

Thank you both for the words of encouragement, this is something I truely do believe in and I do it because the NKF has helped me in the past. I also do it for some people that have inspired me throughout my life and have passed but not before showing me that you can live and be happy even with ESRD and being on dialysis. I also do it because I get to meet some great people at the walk. I hopefully will have some pictures to post this year as last year it rained the whole walk. Take care everyone and have a safe and happy 2012

Wow! What a wonderful goal! I am sure they are very appreciative of your participation. Good luck and have a great time! Were you going to the Transplant Games in Grand Rapids this year also?

Hello LadyDi As of right now I do not have plans on going to the games but as they get closer I will see if my work schedule can accommodate going.
