Jan was one of our first Donor family members here. She wrote about her Son Joe and his heroic act. While saving a young girl from drowning, Joe passed away and became an organ donor. Joe's Story is located here http://transplantbuddies.org/html/life_stories.php#janet

Jan told me she was wondering why I stopped sending emails from this site. She said she will be returning soon.

Lesson learned, some people like staying in touch outside of transplantbuddies.

See you soon Janet

Risa....I am so sorry that I have not been as active here as I used to be. It seemed that everyone kind of went their own way, and I stopped receiving posts from the site, and just 'got too busy'. I should've known better. I would love to hear from all of you.

I am currently also helping to moderate another site called Drowning Support Network, for people who have lost a loved one to drowning. It is a very active site, and my mailbox is so full sometimes, that I don't think to just 'drop in' to say hi.

So, please let me know how all of you are doing....

Hugs & Love, Janet

Hi Jan

Thank you so much for writing back so quickly. This means so much to me.
If you click on edit profile up at the top you can notify the system to contact you whenever you receive a message to either a edit a post you created or replied to.

I find it difficult to write to Donor Families because I do not want to intrude in their lives. If you can place this link on your site, someone might want to post on an active forum. When someone writes on Donor Families here many people reply.

That is so wonderful that you are helping others. I am very proud of you:-) Please send me the link here. The system allows html.

Stay in touch when you think of us. I am sure Bob will see this post and respond so you can check back here in a few days to see Happy2Bhere post.

Thank you again
