I am a living donor so a bit different than what most of you posted. However, I did not know my recipient...eventually we met and she is lovely. Anyhow, what I loved most was...the notes from her friends! They thanked me for giving their dear friend a second chance at life and what they loved about her. Some of those friends also sent "meaningful gifts" like donations to a charity in my honor. But really...those notes meant the world to me. Just a thought... |

I never dreamed how important those notes would be. The people I've heard from, Mona, (cornea) and CJ.(liver) are wonderful. Now I love them.
