Kristen, I thought you might would want to know, today July 19th is young Alex Woods' 12th year birthday celebration. I placed a phone call to his cell phone number and left a message for him, wishing him a very "Happy Birthday".

Due to your love and compassion and your beautiful daughter Sarah's "Gift of Life" to young Alex, he will have many more birthday celebrations in the future.

God Bless

Oh! Thanks so much for reminding me, Bob! So much has been going on....I had forgotten. I know I have it written down around here somewhere.

I sent him an ecard. I hope he's having a wonderful day!

Thanks for letting me know....I really appreciate it!

How are you, by the way?????

Kristen. I am doing just fine. Have a doc's appointment July 27th and 29th of July for a followup on my hospital visit several months ago. He just wants to check out my ol' ticker to see that it's doing OK. Have a few stress tests lined up for me along with some various lab tests. Thank you for asking, lit'l lady. Hope you are doing fine yourself since the loss of your former hubby, Sarah's Dad.

I plan to place another phone call to Alex this evening, hoping that he will answer my call. I once spoke to him on the phone at Shands Hospital whilst he was hooked up to that Berlin Heart Pump. He was only 9 or 10yrs old at that time. I loved hearing his young voice saying "Hi Bob". Young Alex is a "tuff" lit'l trooper, that now has a very loving heart. (Sarah Elizabeth's)

God Bless and take care of yourself, Kristen.

Alex is away right now at camp for transplant children. Thanks to his donor Sarah he is able to enjoy many things he might not have had the pleasure of even knowing about.
He is a happy 12 year old boy able to explore all the things life has to offer him. Many thanks for all your good wishes and bless all of you good health and exciting days like Alex is having.
