20 years post heart transplant daily meds



Prednisone 5mg = anti-inflammatory



Aspirin 81mg = blood thinner



Neoral Cyclosporine 100mg = prevents organ rejection (50mg twice daily)



Carvedilol (Coreg) 12.5mg twice daily = treats blood pressure



Pravastatin (Pravacol) 40mg before bedtime = treats high cholesterol


5 total meds

Footnote:
I post this only to show you, your meds can possibly be lowered as the years go by.

I'm at 4 years post transplants and down to just -

6 mg prograf daily
plus vitamins & minerals
I also take fentora, but not related to transplants

Oh, I recommend smile pills, too!

20 Years post liver transplant and currently taking just Prograf 3mg and Procardia (for high blood pressure).
