There have been some good news about rapamycin, which is used in rapamune. Aside from being used to prevent transplant rejection, it has uses for cancer, and more recently found to have some ability to ward off the effects of aging.

The article now mentions a new discovery that rapamycin also increases the risk of diabetes.
