Boy, am I enjoying this!! Current program calls for me to eat almost 3,800 calories per day. At the same time, I am only doing weight lifting with minimal cardio. I try to maintain about a 60-20-20 split in my meals. I am going to see what things look like after 8 weeks. My goal during that 8 weeks is to gain 4 pounds of muscle, along with whatever fat comes along with it. When the time comes, if it is in 8 weeks or beyond, I will start cutting. That means carbohydrates and calories. My split will be 50-25-25 then. I have been told that it is difficult, but possible, eating proteins like egg whites and lean meats. I would assume that my fats will be mostly confined to polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats with very few saturated fats at all. Wish me luck, because I will probably need it!

Rise, I talked with Mashka about Sunday chat. She may join us. I told her that there was room for her, too. Seems like we need to try to get as many as we can to participate. BTW, where is Meagan???

Rise - I hope you recover soon. I am within days of my first transplant "birthday" and I have been having lots of neck and back trouble. I am seeing a Physical Therapist who attributes a lot of it to the stitches and scarring post transplant. Anyone else struggling with similar?
