I had one today and don't fool yourself, everyone has them. I believe I know the reason for it, though. It is called lack of quality sleep. I don't know if you can tell when you have one of the nights like I had last night, but I can. Things had been going well for me since I returned from Michigan. I was looking forward to that trip because it had been so long since I had a period of time off. I was not sleeping well before my trip. Sometimes at night, I won't get to bed when I should because even when I am going to sleep well, it takes me some time to settle in so that I can sleep. Then there are nights like I had last night. Last night, even though I laid down to sleep, I tossed and turned and just did not sleep well. I start thinking about things and I can't go to sleep for whatever reason. I have started trying to listen to the clock until I doze off. Usually, that works. Not last night. The night before last, I had a good sleep-eight hours and twenty minutes. Last night, it was more like five hours and twenty minutes, and I had plenty of activity during the day that should have made sleep easy.Grrr!
There are not too many things in life worth working my butt off for, but my health is one of them |
