Once again, my dear, Mr. Skeptical is skeptical. I might do a little research on this one, but it sounds too good to be true.

I have used a power plate since before my transplant last summer. I was on it 3 days a week mostly for a message after my runs. Have not done it much since transplant last summer .I just started to run again and have used the power plate the last couple of weeks.
I think it works great for keeping yourself toned plus the message. Don't think it will turn me into a mass of muscle but at my age who cares. It is available at my local Gym at no extra charge, would never spend the thousands of $$$$ to buy my own.
on the list.

Hi Bobby

What is the name of your gym?

I use to be good at the hoola hoop and today I took out my hoola and worked at it for 45 minutes. To me when you are using every muscle in your body with a hoola hoop type exercise it might have a similar impact to a power plate type exercise.

Hoola is also known to massage your body too.

What do you think?

Sorry, Rise, but from what I have read of the reviews, massage is about all they are good for, none of the rest of the stuff they tout. That is a pretty expensive masseuse at $10,000. I'll stick to lifting and running.

Cisco
I did not say I was going to buy it. Can you copy and paste the reviews here.

All I did was google "Power Plate." I really don't have the time to do it today. I am lucky I had the time to get on here at all. Later, maybe. I am awfully busy today.

Rice.
I am in a 55+ community and the really great gym is one of the amenities.
As a regular user I can say for sure that it does more than just message. I use both it and some light weights and exercise equipment. But some of the older folks here use only the power plant and get pretty good results.
on the list.

Thanks Bobby

I will look around and check it out. I greatly appreciate you sharing your experience.

This machine sounds like it would benefit people with lung congestion as it shakes your entire body.

I will let you know when I experience the power plate.

Glad that you joined us.

I suspect that in my case, that I don't live somewhere that has a big enough gym to have one of these, or we're just a bunch of hicks from the sticks. LOL!!
