Here is the workout for today, which was a scorcher. Got pushed really hard today, a buddy who also works at my FD came in on his off shift to work out today. This guy is a complete beast and he just kept pushing and pushing, I was shaking and felt like I might throw up at the end. I love a hard workout!!!!

5 Rounds for time:

1/4 Mile sprint (10 mph)
10 Pull-Ups
20 Push-Ups
30 Sit-Ups
40 Goblet Squats (55 lb dumbbell)
60 seconds recovery
REPEAT

6 Rounds Treadmill Sprints
10% Incline
20 seconds at 11 mph
40 seconds recovery

4 Rounds (no recovery)
60 seconds Sledgehammer Swings (into truck tire)
60 seconds 15 lb medicine ball Russian Twists (every other throw ball into wall)
Repeat!

DONE!!!

WOW! What pull up bar do you use?

I am simply proud that I can now do a man pushup and my chest almost touches the floor.

We have a wall mounted pull-up bar like the gyms have... We've got a rather nice set-up at my FD, I'm very fortunate!

That's awesome that you've pushed, no pun intended, to get to the point of doing standard push-ups! One of the best feelings is working hard for something and conquering it, that's what pushes me everyday.

Thank you DePaola

YES the drive in me is all fired up no matter how I feel. That is what many of us need is the belief that we can generate a positive force within and then move on out with it. To motivate one self is a wonderful gift.
