Hi all,
My name is Ryan, i am new to this site and am currently awaiting a heart transplant, since May 2013. This is due to being born with a congenital heart defect, which i have had a number of operations for.
Just wondering if any of you had any issues with controlling your weight, due to not being able to exercise, before you had your transplant? Or is anyone in a similar situation?
I have tried limiting the amount that i eat, however, i find when i do this, i start to feel more unwell than if i eat regularly ie normal meals. Unfortunately i feel this is the only option available to me as i cannot do physical exercise.
