My New CF Doctor hi all, For those of you who live in South Florida, this information that I will share with you might be of interest to you and your family. A few years ago, I decided it would be best for me to find a local doctor who I could see in addition to visiting my transplant center which is only one hour a way. I found the best hospital nearby which happens to be Cleveland Clinic located in Weston Florida. With it's outstanding reputation I decided to give them a try. I was quite surprised at the level of care I received. The maximum time you wait to see a doctor is about 5 minutes. I waited under five minutes to see my new pulmologist. After a year of only two visits to their pulmonary team, I was told by the department chair of pulmonary that they were bringing on a CF consultant. I met with Dr. Hadeh last week and was very impressed. It is wonderful to have a doctor who understands CF and transplant who is also close by to where I live. What peace of mind I now have. He will work with my transplant team if needed. In the meantime, I remain quite healthy. If you need a doctor in the Broward County Florida area, check out Cleveland Clinic in Weston and ask for the pulmonary dept, Dr. Hadeh. You can mention my name if you like LOVE, Rise' http://my.clevelandclinic.org/...ic_florida_weston.aspx

Rise: It's so good to hear that you are getting good treatment and you have a great new doctor. It is also good to hear that you are very healthy! It is sometimes very hard to find good doctors these days. They all seem to be overbooked and very limited with their time. Of course, you know my feelings about the Cleveland Clinic. LOL!! I am so glad that they have a stellar reputation in Florida too!! God Bless!
