Lost my brother on Nov. 7th, 2006. He was in the hospital in Peoria Illinois for heart surgery. He was only 52... He stroked out during surgery and was a donor. He donated his kidneys, liver and pancreas. We miss him dearly. 8 months later we lost our mother. Here is picture of them both 2 years before he passed away. It is wonderful knowing that a part of him is still living on.

Hello Rebecca

Thank you for joining us and sharing your brother Rich and your Mom with us. You shared a lovely photo of your Brother and Mother. I cannot imagine the pain that you feel although I do feel and hear the peace of mind that you have knowing that Rich was an organ donor.

God Bless you

There are many donor families who grace our forum. Please do not be a stranger and share and get to know us.

Thank you again

Welcome Rebecca,

I'm so glad you found us. I love your picture of your mom and Rich. So full of life!

I'm so sorry you had to feel the pain to lose them so close together. My brother, and Grandmother died 6 days apart. It was very hard.

You will meet some very great people here, I have learned so much from them. I hope you have peace in knowing Rich helped save lives.
