Dannys hernia surgery went well. Pretty quick..out patient. However..on Sun (2 days later) it was nasty red all around the bandage like 3 inches all around..so to urgent care we went. that doc said it looked like infection beginning. However..Monday when one of the actual surgeons had a look they said it looked completely normal and looked fine. He is doing great now. I, however...have had yet another huge flare of all my symptoms plaguing me for the past 2 years. Meds had been increased but still having bad burning and other new things ..just as odd...happening as well. my Rheum. told me last time I saw her she wanted a neurologist on board since she seems to be treating more neuro symptoms than autoimmune. So now tomorrow i have to see yet another new doctor. I think sometimes how much I have taken for granted before all this happened to me...beginning with my hip and back..oh to be back to those being my only issues. I would love to feel normal again..but I hardly know what that would be...I know most of you that read this have gone and are going through so much more than I...but sometimes life and it's battles get a bit overwhelming. The unknown is very scary. I wish I knew what I was fighting and how to fight it. on a lighter note...have been out trying to find something new and exciting to take a picture of..there are less and less pretty trees..and many are leafless...a sign that winter is just around the corner. I guess my husband ordered me a Kindle Fire for Christmas..he is worse than a kid...can't wait til Christmas .....anyway..pretty stoked about that. I actually have a Kindle 3 and I love it. I can throw it in my purse and read it in waiting rooms or where ever...it is just not too great for browsing online at all..takes forever to navigate. Fire is supposed to be much better..more like an iPad just cheaper... Grandma will be turning 103 next week. My mom is so exhausted all the time. I do worry about her. But she is doing the right thing so I know the Lord will take care of her and is watching over her..and she will be rewarded.

Wow! So much has happened. Glad to hear that your husbands surgery went well. Many of us are fighting battles that we have no idea what is really happening with our bodies. I have found that surrendering to the thought of whatever is ailing me really helps. It is sort of like.... denial but we do what we have to do and just let go and hopefully this helps to reduce stress. Learning how to let go is not easy as this is always the opposite to all of my approaches toward illness. Your grandma is surely blessed to live to a ripe old age. No matter how old they get we still love and will miss them when they are no longer with us. Thank you for sharing! love Rise'

Glad your hubby is doing well. Sorry you have had a flare up. The weather change seems to bother you, doesn't it? I think these doctors are going to be writing a book on you as many as you have had to see! The Kindle sounds like a fine idea! Early Christmas present means he just has to get you more later, right? !
