Hi All! I'm new to this board and new to the transplant process! My husband, a type-1 diabetic, is just starting the paperwork for a pancreas-kidney transplant. We live in Delaware, so we're hoping it'll either be in Baltimore, Philly or Northern Virginia. I wanted to say hi and hopefully introduce ourselves to people that may be able to provide advice, etc. Also, we have a blog that we hope will help our family, friends and others understand more about what's going on: www.brandenstransplant.com Looking forward to getting to know everyone!! |

Hi Branden and Kristi, I read your blog entries. I was exactly where Branden was just a few short months ago. I had my kidney/pancreas transplant on July 4th, and I'm doing amazingly great now. Just know that there is a light at the end of this tunnel that you are in now. Keep us posted. Wendy |

Braden and Kristi: Welcome to Transplant Buddies! It's great to have you both here. It's a great place to get a lot of questions answered. I was new here too even before I went for my evaluation. These folks were so supportive and still are - I am still waiting for my double lung transplant. I hope you visit often. We look forward to getting to know you! God Bless!
