With respects to Donors and their families: "Bravery is our most outstanding attribute for without bravery all other of our attributes remain meaningless" - Sir Winston Churchill in one of his speeches addressing the London Citizens during the German attack on London "Never have so many owed so much to so few" - Sir Winston Churchill in one of his last speeches post WWII. He was talking about the RAF fighter pilots who had unbelievable losses during WWII. At times they were know to go against odds of 5, 6, 7 to 1 Sir Winston Churchill is the most (over 100) quoted man in history. "You can pick your friends but can not pick your family" author unknown I thought this is very germaine to Transplant Recipients and those on the waiting list: "LIfe may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance" a nameless Senior Citizen. Reflections: "Good morning" ( they are all good some just better then others) Life post transplant.. Have a nice day.
Cardiac history going back to 1993. Heart Transplant received in Oct. 2004. Interesting first year and have been very physically active ever since. I currently am pro-active with the SE PA. Gift of Life and a member of Johns Hopkins patient administered Heart Transplant Foundation. |

These are more humorous quotes than anything. (Imagine that) -Our beer contains lanolin to keep your stomach soft and lovely. -unknown -Tact-the ability to tell someone to go to Hades in such a nice way that they look forward to the trip-unknown
