I incorporated a few techniques that work for me into one energy technique. I call it Transplant Acceptance technique.

I lie on my back in bed. I place one hand under my collar bone and the other hand on my abdomen. I keep my hands in place in a comfortable position. You might need a pillow to prop your elbows up so they feel comfortable while holding your hands in place.

While you feel the heat rise into your hands, allow your mind to think whatever thoughts that might come your way. Do not fight your thoughts even if you have less than desirable thoughts. The idea is to realize that whatever is in your mind is in other areas of your body. When you realize the mind and body connection, you will send more healing thoughts to your mind and body and the worries and other negative thoughts will disappear. For some reason, I feel the hands act as an awareness guide to help your mind relax. I believe if we really knew how harsh our thoughts can be (fear, worry, anger, frustration etc.), our bodies would not stress as much. This technique helps to send love to your body and nurturing yourself when you realize that your thoughts that are in your mind are in your lungs, liver, pancreas etc.... if you were holding a baby, your hands would be in the same position. You are holding your precious child within.

When you feel your hands becoming very warm, switch your hands around. Place the hand that was on your stomach (below or above) to the bottom area of your neck and visa versa. You can do this also by holding your hands just below your collarbone. From reading Energy Medicine and another book called We are all in shock, I came up with my own version of similar techniques.

Whatever works right?

I am glad that you like it:-)

It is nice to see someone responding to this section. I am sure you will be back here once you receive your EM books and video from Donna Eden that I sent to you.

Risa, what is a good technique for stress during the day-time? My neck is so stiff right now. I try a lot of stretching too.

Massage your shoulders and then lightly pull on your ears and massage them. Massaging the ears helps to loosen up a tight neck. I learned this from touch for health and Donna Eden talks about this in her book too. I hope this helps you. I also like to put on a warm compress.

I don't know about a heat compress, it already feels hot back there. I will try the ear thing tonight. I know awhile back my doctor had told me that I was a very stiff person to be a woman.
my legs would get so stiff that my knee cap would swell and I would have to get a shot(cortizone) to help relieve the pain. He would try to hold my little leg out and it would only go so far. Stretch, stretch is what he said.

I need to go find out about my Dek scan. I guess no news is good news.

Hi Deb

I hope you feel better. Could it be that you are not getting an adequate amount of minerals in your body? Just curious.

When taking medications, one can deplete minerals from the body. I do not know if kidney tx patients are allowed to take vitamin and minerals. I find if my body aches or I have cramping it means my minerals are depleted. I lose magnesium easily due to prograf. I take vitamins and minerals daily.

I take a multivitamin Centrium, a 81mg aspirin coated, cell cept, prograf, zocor, prednisone, levsin, protonix, coreg, norvasc, prozac, and insulin.

I just started eating a lot of collard for past couple of days and I have to say I feel pretty good. I actually had a BM without straining and without going 2-3 times a day : ) I know you could care not to hear all that. I think it does make a difference.
I don't know about any other minerals, except the doctor said I can take the Omega 3. Which I need to start.

I did find an interested topic about the Yoga.

"Yoga soothes worst symptoms of menopause."

Very good article Deb

I practice yoga every single day (2x daily or sometimes more) if I have the time.

I also eat dark green veggies and if you are eating these often, I doubt you need extra minerals.

Keep on exercising......

Deb, magnesia is relaxing to muscles and mind.
And if you take prograf it is necessary.
I take 3 capsuals of "Magnetrans forte" a day.
Ask your doc about it.

Yoga is very nice too:
