Hi there, I know I don't post much in this section but I try to use Energy Medicine as I find it useful in my day to day life. Most of the things I use have already been posted therefore I don't post them again. I didn't find this posted anywhere on the site though - so I figured I would put it out there. The past few months I have had shoulder pain - it is more muscular that I do know. I have tried strengthening the area thinking it was maybe just a weakened muscle from the meds - no luck still painful. I tried stretching thinking it was just tightened and cramping - no luck. Tried icing and heat no luck still pain. I have really struggled with what to do in regards to my pain in my shoulder as it is impacting my day to day life and more importantly my sleep. I woke up early again this morning and realized that the only thing I haven't tried to see if it helps is Energy Medicine - so I picked up my book. I looked first at pain and then at muscles in the index. I then found what I was looking for - the Muscle Meridian Chart. I went to the Chart on page 286 of my book and looked at the way it broke down what different muscles were related too. I saw that the area of my shoulder that was hurting was related to the gallbladder (which I find ironic since I don't have my gallbladder). I then went to the gallbladder meridian and traced it backwards and then forwards. I noticed that some of my pain was gone - not all but some of it. Then I proceeded to Page 274-275. The Meridians and the Neurovascular Points. I held each set of the Gallbladder points for a few minutes and again noticed that the pain was lessened even more - to where I was not hesitant to lift my arm like I have been for weeks because of the sharp pain I was getting. From there I continued reading and found ... on page 288-291 the Pain Zones and zone tapping. I found the area that hurt on me on the chart and tapped the zone on my wrist that corresponded I am now in the 10 minute waiting process for the pain to go away and I will say though it is sore in that area the pain is gone. I can rotate my shoulder around entirely and lift it straight up and down and stretch without the sharp pain I was getting just 30 minutes ago. It is still sore but I also worked out yesterday - as I said I had been thinking it was a weakened muscle so I have been trying to strengthen it. I am excited at the idea that this can alleviate my pain and wanted to share with others that may be having pain that for whatever reason they can't get to go away. I will also put this out there - I remember using these techniques - all three - to relieve some of my pain post transplant. I hope that this helps someone and if not at the very least it has helped me so I am happy with that. Take Care, Lindsey

Congratulations on finding what works for you. Small intestine runs along the shoulder and traps. I have pain there. When I get twinging pain (radiating pain) I push up into my arm pit. A chiropractor taught me this technique. I find it best to practice this lying down. In Donna Eden's six hour video, she talks about how important it is to trace and flush the meridian that corresponds to the organ that is not there. Like in your case the Gall bladder. Are you practicing the Daily Routine? Something so simple really works!! Keep sharing and I am very happy for you. Pain Chasing is better when you have a partner to help you. I am going to ask my husband to help me with this technique. Donna and her husband (http://innersource.net) are coming out with another revised edition of Energy Medicine and also the book Energy Medicine for Women. Not sure what month, something to look for.
