Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to you and all your families.....

Happy Thanksgiving

Click on Pumpkin Pie at the end! Hopefully it will work!!

TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING,
BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP.
I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS,
I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.

THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED -
THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE,
BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION
WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT.

TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION,
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.
SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR,
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.
GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES,
PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES.

I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND,
'TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE GROUND.
I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING, FLOATING INTO THE SKY,
WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING AND A HANDFUL OF PIE.
BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED PAST THE TREES....
HAPPY EATING TO ALL - PASS THE CRANBERRIES, PLEASE.

MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY,
MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP.
MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP.
MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS.
MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE,
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL

All of this talk about eating, gives me a pause,
After all, it's too early to look like Santa Claus.
Have you laid in bed when you heard them loudly call,
Until you ran, but fell over something misplaced in the hall
"Hey Cisco, you know darn well we're nutritious,
Come taste us you fool, we're down right delicious!"
There's fruit cake, pie and cookies, but that stuff is NO good,
But you'd stuff it everywhere, your mouth, stomach and ears if you could.
I'll be basking in the sun and rolling in clover,
Once the holiday season is finally over.
If you are going through hell, keep going-Winston Churchill

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Buddies in the US.

I hope that you have all had lots of time with friends and family, and plenty of turkey dinners and pumpkin pie. We have out Thanksgiving in Canada in mid Oct.

I am sure that everyone of us will be thinking of our donors this weekend.

All stuff aside, it's about getting together with friends and loved ones. The food is obviously secondary. But I want to wish each and every one of my transplant buddies a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy yourselves, watch some football or play some games, or whatever you do over the holiday.

The food is great but don't forget all the things you have to be thankful for. No matter what we are facing or what we are going through, we all have something to be thankful for.

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hoping you are spending it with people you love!
