Transplantation is not an easy road, nor is it guaranteed that it will succeed. Each of you who chooses the path of transplantation carries a torch - one with a message of hope and courage - for the world to see. Donors and donor families elected to try to keep your torch lit because they care about YOU. Thank you for undertaking your journey. Good luck and blessings to each and every one of you. |

You are correct. Transplantation is not necessarily an easy road, although some of us have had a much easier road than others, myself included. And you are right about donors and donor families caring about their fellow man. They are some of the biggest heroes around here!
