Hi Rise' !!! (And everyone else...)

I'm sorry I've been so lax in nosing around here!!! Things have been rather wonderfully hectic for me the past several months -- and I haven't been paying attention to a lot of the things I usually pay attention to...

This was a crazy little journey -- Alex is an amazing human being and I adore her... And now she'll be part of me forever! Her kidney is working amazingly well. I was back at work less than 4 weeks after my surgery!!! (One day less than four weeks, but less none-the-less!)

Thanks, Rise', for linking to my post about Alex and the gift she gave me -- in the same way I tell others about Kari, telling people about Alex is very important to me... here is the full, direct link:

You take care... Love, Steve

Yesterday Heather was telling me about an amazing friend she has on fb. Steve just received a kidney from his dear friend Alex. He is the sweetest person!

I said, "If it were not a kidney, I'd think BreathinSteven is who you are talking about."

She says," He received his lungs 12 years ago from a girl named Kari."

I told her I thought Alex had been a close friend to Kari.

Alex is Her best friend!!! She told me, and caught me up on Steve's kidney TX.

This was a happy surprise! I've been offline too long.
