hello all; was lucky enough to receive bilateral lung transplant 6+ months back here in B.C. Canada. doing very well up until a few weeks ago. somewhat tighter in the chest with some inflamation in upper respiratory. other than shakey spirometry no other symptoms of rejection. my clinic nurse tells me rejection is often asymptomatic so i'm a tad concerned. they will not do follow-up biopsy if spirometry is close to on the mark. what i would love to ask is if anyone out there has experienced mild rejection before in a similar situation. for the 1st time since the operation i've resorted to the ventolin every 8 hrs or so and it has helped a bit which tells me there is some narrowing of the airways. happy new yr to all. |
