Thanks so much for posting this, Rise'!!!
I'm excited, and a little overwhelmed -- but that's how it usually is for the weeks before the climb... This climb is a little more so, with so many more of Kari's friends coming out, and her family too... and the craziness of my surgery and recovery as the climb approaches just kinda piled things on!!! But, I'm ready...

Hmmmm thought I posted here already?!?!!? I blame the meds! I always blame the meds!
Anyway Steve I said I am thinking you are never going to be allowed to stop until you can't do it anymore which will hopefully be more years than we can think about!!! What a great way to honor Kari. You go Dude! And so soon after all your surgeries...I too am very proud of you!

Steve you just continue to amaze me. You are just so amazing in what you do and say for Kari and what she has given you. I am soooo very proud of you. You mean more to me than you know....you had words of wisdom when I was waiting for transplant that I held on to that kept me going through some VERY rough times. I even printed a few of your posts out and kept them with me. You are just such an inspiration and to me that's what the "Gift of Life" is all about. Those of us given the 2nd chance of life need to inspire those that are waiting and encourage those that are making the decision to be donors. You do this with finesse!
Congrats on making your 10th climb. I think I may add that to my bucket list to do it with you one year!!!!!

You never cease to amaze me!! Way to go on your 10th climb!! The crazy reporter's video was funny. It was so great to see them advocating for Organ Donation.
The best part was all of Kari's friends and family that participated. That is incredibly special. I know that Kari was proud of each and every one of you.
You are a very special person- Steve. I am so thankful that God continues to bless you with more life. You certainly have given back all that has been given to you! Thank you for all you do!!
