Please take the time to share What are your current anti-rejection serum levels and how much anti rejection medication do you take in one day. Based on my current labs that reflected low vitamin D levels and increased Prograf dosing, I was able to correct this by reducing my Prograf dose because I am now taking this drug on an empty stomach which has brought my Vitamin D level back to normal. I am certain that this drug and many others deplete our vitamin D and we all know that especially the lung transplant community is very low in Vitamin D. Please mention the condition you have as well. I also need to know about your vitamin D levels and dose. Let us do our part to help the transplant community. In the meantime, I am going to contact some of the researchers that have written about the low vitamin D and hopefully in the future have a proper online study. If anyone has any contacts please email me transplantbuddies@gmail.com
