My annual transplant checkup has been moved up a few months because of my various hospital visits this past year. They will be checking me twice per year now, May and November to keep a closer eye on me since I am now 71yrs old and almost 21yrs out post transplant. Doesn't bother me, though, them checking me more often. I truly love living.
My checkup was great today, just increased my BP med just a bit. No problem.
The only thing I don't like, is that 40 mile trip down to the hospital in that darn heavy Houston traffic, bumper to bumper.
P.S. to the above statement: My sweetie Darlene was doing the driving today. I was just sitting there in the passenger seat like a "Big Dog". <snicker>
I always love to visit with the medical staff at THI. Love 'em all
