Please state if you had a multi-visceral transplant or if you are waiting for your new organs Please include your picture if you like and mention your transplant center. I want to create this special thread and can only do this with your help.

I had a multivisceral transplant in which I received a new spleen, pancreas, liver, stomach, small and large intestines. The surgery took place on October 6, 2005 (my 25th birthday too!) at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, and my surgeon was Dr. Andreas Tzakis. This type of transplant has of yet never been performed in my home state of Kentucy.

I had a Multi-Visceral Transplant in which I received a Liver, stomach, pancreas, and small bowel. My transplant took place on December 17th, 2007 at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. My transplant was the first of its kind in Western Canada. I tried to upload a picture, but it wouldn't work.
