I just been stung by 6 or 7 yellow jackets and we use a credit card to rake any stinger which I cannot see, but surely the pain and burning is there! I put some snuff on it and now trying baking soda. It burns and stings real bad. It has been over 2 hours, how long does it take before the stingy stops? I also took one Tylenol.

Brian, I heard if you are allergic that just one bee sting can cause you to be seriously ill or even death. I bet you have to take extra precaution. I was cutting my Mother-in-law yard and I finished her front yard and went to the back and bam! All I saw was yellow little bees swarming all around my short legged self and I ran like crazy and they were chasing me. Last night, I was in constant stinging pain that I was literally crying. I do not even remember falling asleep. Today, the stingy is gone and I found some benadryl ointment to stop the itchiness. I have felt nauseated all day but no fever. I have 3 of the 7 stings that seem to be infected because I can see little pus. I guess, if I feel nauseated Monday, I will call my kidney doctor. I knew there was a reason I did not like bees.
