hi strange and superficial thing ever since my kidney transplant i have had pretty bad puffy eyes like under my eyes little pouches of puffiness....anyone else had this ? is it fluid retenion? not on pred anymore. meds ? makes me look tired all the time people say god you look tired....

Yes I have them and think its fat under the skin from prednisolone even though I stopped taking it in 2008 it still remains, its not so noticable under my left eye but is under my right and I have dark circles too
do you also have fat under your breasts
hope they will go away eventually but don't think they will

I stopped pred 10 years ago and still have the puffy eyes...

I was never on pred but also have puffy eyes. Although I noticed that they began with kidney failure, so I don't think mine are related to meds. But I thought it would go away after transplant when my function returned. Alas, it is not so!

Hi guys!

I have puffy eyes too, but I think mine is due to old age and not enough sleep! LOL!!

I am on 5mg of prednisone, but I have had puffy eyes for a long time even before the pred.

Sorry - I just think everything starts to sag as we get older

the thing that worries me about side effects is you seem to have slowly mutated into a bumble bee! lol
