Has anyone had to change clinics because there clinic was closing? That's what I am facing and it's very upsetting. Two hospitals in my city each had a transplant center and are merging together. I've been with my current hospital for over 20 years and have always felt very comfortable there. Now everything will be strange and unfamiliar. I am not one for change but, I keep telling myself maybe I will like it better. From what I've heard so far, a couple of doctors are going transferring but no other staff is going. |

I had to change hospitals with my old nephrology team as a couple of hospitals merged. It was scary at first, but I liked the new team I was with and things worked out really well for me. I know it's even scarier with transplant stuff, but I'm sure you'll find someone good. Best of luck.
