He's waiting for a K/P transplant. Just trying to understand if it's realistic to be multiple listed in St. Louis (Barnes Jewish Hospital), where the number of K/P candidates is considerably smaller than in Los Angeles. If "the call" were to come, it would take probably 6 to 8 hours to arrive in St. Louis using commercial airlines (it is a 3 1/2 hour flight). Are there any other options out there? Has anyone moved to be closer to a transplant center when they are closer to the top of the list (based on wait time)? Thank you for your knowledge and experience. Sincerely, Grace
