Hey everyone!! Sorry its been so long since i've posted.. i hope that any other liver donors get pushed my way tho! I really have to be better about posting on here!.
I hung out with my Angel Sister Tawnya in person (i took a trip to California!!) and she was even more beautiful and radiant in person!
I just want to let everyone know that us living donors are here for u guys!! and we can talk about anything!

--my dad is doing well! we are 14 months post surgery. His liver numbers go up and down, but so far keeping our fingers crossed- every day is a blessing and believe me i learned that from this whole experience!!
and i am doing well also! at my one year appt my liver was bigger than it was pre surgery, which is perfect!!
Keep your eye on the prize, and your arms around those you love.

liver donor match for dad.

Nicole! It is so good to see your name! That is wonderful that you and your Dad are doing so well!
How wonderful that you got to meet Tawnya - did you take a photo? You should post it for us as we would love to see the two of you together.
I did refer someone to this website who was a potential donor, but haven't seen them hear yet. I was telling her about you, Tawnya and Dawn and what wonderful people you would be to talk to.
Thanks for checking in!

Hi everyone!!

Words can not describe how fantastic it was to meet and hang out with one of my angel sisters' Nicole. She was more superb than I thought she would be. It was one of the best times i have ever had. I took tons of pic's. I, however, cannot get the pic's to shrink in order to post them here. Dawn, if your listening. Can I e-mail them to you so you can put them up for me? I know you are able to shrink and fit photo's here. I have a MAC computer and I don't have a windows program to shrink photo's. I would love everyone here, to be able to see them. Let me know.

I was also so happy to hear how good Nicole and her father are doing. She looked so good too. We were telling some of the people in hotel restaurant how we knew each other and that we were meeting for the first time, and could they please take a picture of us; the amazement on their faces was priceless because you'd never know we were live liver donor's by just looking at us, but we are!

My father and I are also doing very good. I feel completely recovered and my father too. I hope to get those photo's up soon. I hope everyone else is doing fabulous too! T

Hi Tawnya

You made my day with your post. Everyone is meeting on this website.
Please email some of the photos as I will post them onto transplantfriends in our Txbuddies sightings link (at the top)
I will ask for a volunteer if you do not hear back from someone soon.

I am just swamped and my nikon editor does not respond well.

Tawnya,
Of course you can email them to me. I'm not totally great with computer gizmos but I shall see what I am able to do!!

I did just respond to a woman on the liver forum about being a donor to her Dad. Could this be the woman you referred Linda?

Glad to hear how everyone is doing well! I just love my txbuddy family!!

Rise' I will send the pictures to your e-mail tomorrow. Thanks. I would love for everyone to see them!

Heather, no MAC does not have paint. There is no way to shrink pictures. I've tried. Hopefully I will get them posted through either Dawn or Rise'.

Dawn, I will e-mail the picture to you tomorrow, also. You can try to post them whenever it's convenient for you. Thanks again. I'm looking for her post now. Not sure if it's the same person. I'll let you know. T
