Hello everyone - I was interviewed last year by Dr. Bramstedt for her soon-to-be released book "Finding Your Way: A Medical Ethics Handbook for Patients and Families." Her web site also contains a wealth of information on living organ donation: http://www.transplantethics.com/home.html As you'll see from her previous year lectures she gets around and I imagine with the release of her new book she'll have a similar schedule for 2011. It would be fascinating to hear her in person. Have any other living donors heard of her?

Chad - I don't know how this post slipped by. I actually stumbled onto this site about 2 weeks ago. She certainly brings up some interesting points. I will be interested to read her book (already put a reminder in Outlook / Jan. 11th) - and, your interview 'of course'. Thanks for posting this . . . . . .
